PETERHEAD will slap a lifetime ban on the fan who allegedly uttered a racist remark towards an opposition player during a match this weekend.
The League One side were in action in the Scottish Cup on Saturday against Greenock Morton, hosting them at Balmoor in the third round tie.

But the game was blighted by a Peterhead supporter making an alleged racist gesture in the direction of Ton striker Tomi Adeloye.
Both clubs have condemned the abuse with Peterhead stating they are already working to identify the person responsible.
The match itself ended in a victory for the Championship outfit, who won 5-3 on penalties following a 2-2 draw.
Adeloye was sent off in the match, receiving a second booking in the 73rd minute.

Peterhead will banish the fan from any future games at Balmoor after launching an investigation.
The Aberdeenshire club said in a statement: “It is with profound disappointment that Peterhead Football Club addresses the following issue.
“It has been reported that during Saturday’s Scottish Cup match, a Greenock Morton player was subjected to a racist remark. This behaviour is completely unacceptable and has no place at Balmoor Stadium or at any football venue.
“The impact incidents like this can have, on individuals, on our club’s reputation, and on the wider community, cannot be understated. This conduct does not reflect the values of Peterhead FC or our supporters.
“We are fully committed to taking firm action. Steps are already underway to identify the person responsible, and once confirmed, they will receive a lifetime ban from attending any fixtures at our ground.
“Let there be no doubt: the actions of a single individual will not define Peterhead Football Club.”
Morton said in their own statement: “Greenock Morton Football Club is aware of an incident of alleged racist behaviour directed towards our player Tomi Adeloye, witnessed by a club official, during Saturday’s Scottish Cup tie against Peterhead.
“The club strongly condemns any form of racist abuse. There is no place for racism in football or in society, and we maintain a zero-tolerance approach to all forms of discrimination.
“We are committed to working with Peterhead who we thank for their cooperation, the relevant authorities, and any other appropriate bodies to investigate the matter.
“We will support the strongest possible action against those responsible. We stand with you, Tomi.”
