ST MIRREN have confirmed that another milestone has been passed in ticket sales for their upcoming Premier Sports Cup final.
The Paisley side will face off against Celtic at Hampden in a few weeks to see who will lift the trophy which the Hoops are the holders of after beating Rangers last year.

It was another Old Firm victory which saw Martin O’Neill‘s men through to this year’s final, while Stephen Robinson emerged victorious in a semi against his old club Motherwell.
It took just nine days of tickets for the mammoth clash being on sale for St Mirren to shift 10,000 tickets from a maximum of 17,000.
They’ll be housed in the South and West Stands of the national stadium, with Hoops supporters split across the South, East and North Stands.
Now just ten days later, the Saints have announced sales have now surpassed 12,000 early this morning.

Based on the rate of purchases so far they’re expecting to receive and allocation of 13,500.
But even more could still be made available if they were to sell that out in good time.
A club statement read: “St Mirren Football Club wishes to thank supporters after our sales for the Premier Sports Cup Final exceeded 12,000.
“The decision has been taken that we will receive an allocation of around 13,500.
“This has been carefully considered following analysis of our rate of sales as well as the configuration of Hampden Park‘s seating blocks and turnstile access points.
“However, there are almost 1,000 tickets remaining for St Mirren supporters with the potential for more to become available in the South Stand over the coming days, ensuring more than 13,000 Buddies will be at the showpiece event at Hampden Park next month.
“If you want to attend the Final and have yet to purchase a ticket, we strongly advise you to buy now and avoid missing out on this historic occasion. Tickets are available to buy online at stmirren.com/matchtickets.
“We would like to reiterate our sincere thanks to everyone for their magnificent support!”
The final allocation of tickets handed to Hoops fans will be determined by the amount their opponents end up taking.
Buddies season ticket holders were given the chance to buy up to 20 TICKETS per person, but had they not sold out their initial 9,500 allocation they would have been outnumbered by opposition fans almost four times over.
