Potters Steelers and Navigators advanced to the finals of their respective divisions in the Antigua and Barbuda Basketball Association (ABBA) Playoffs on Sunday night following game three triumphs at the JSC Sports Complex.
Playing in a decisive game-three against Da Project in the body’s top division, Potters Steelers came away 73-69 winners to advance to the Division 1 final where they will play defending champions, Flyers Basketball, in a best of five showdown.

Keroi Lee was the top performer for Steelers with 14 points, 12 rebounds and five assists. He was assisted by Leroy Wilkinson who sank 12 points off the bench while bagging eight rebounds. There were contributions of 10 points each from Cohen DeSouza and Lindsay McDonald. DeSouza also grabbed 16 rebounds and dished three assists.
In a losing effort for Da Project, Terry Dawkins shot a game-high of 30 points on 10 of 31 shooting, sinking two of nine from three-point range. Former national player Bryan ‘Hollywood’ Matthew, contributed with 18 points and 13 rebounds. T-Shawn Lewis was effective on both ends of the court, hitting 14 points while grabbing 27 rebounds.
Game one of the Division 1 Finals will be contested Tuesday night starting at 8:30 pm.

Meanwhile, the Division 2 best of five playoffs final will be contested between Navigators and Ovals Ojays following a game-three 66-57 triumph for Navigators over Spanish Heat in Sunday’s opening clash.
Navigators were led by De-Lornge Jules who sank 24 points off the bench while picking up nine rebounds. Ariel Quallis contributed to the winning effort with 11 points, 16 rebounds and nine assists. Wester Baptiste led the scoring for Spanish Heat with 24 points while grabbing six rebounds.
Game one of the Division 2 Playoffs Finals between Navigators and Ovals Ojays will shoot off at 6:45 pm on Tuesday, also at JSC.
