MOHAMED Salah was dropped to the bench for the third game in a row, and until injury time, it looked like boss Arne Slot would be proven right.
A Hugo Ekitike brace and a late Dominik Szoboszlai strike looked to be enough to secure the three points at Elland Road.
But the home side rallied, first with former Everton star Dominic Calvert-Lewin pulling one back from the penalty spot and Anton Stach slamming home to equalise just minutes later.
The comeback was complete when the ball dropped to Al Tanaka at the back post on a late corner and he drove the ball into the ground past Alisson.
Ekitike had hit a quick-fire double right at the start of the second half first capitalising on a loose pass in the Leeds backline before getting on the end of a Conor Bradley cross.
Leeds fought back from 2-0 down but looked defeated when Szoboszlai finished thanks to Alexis Mac Allister’s genius dummy.

Draw almighty

Liverpool would have surged to fifth in the table with a win, unseating neighbours Everton who arrived there earlier in the day.
Instead, they now sit down in eighth.
While Alexander Isak came on late, Mo Salah remained an unused sub.
