MANCHESTER UNITED centre-back Harry Maguire was left stunned after being told that his sister gets nervous every time he touches the ball in a game.
Maguire is one of the most experienced players in the Premier League, having made 275 top-flight appearances in total.
The 32-year-old has also been capped 64 times for England, appearing at three major tournaments.
However, his sister, Daisy, still can’t help but feel worried every time he plays.
In a one-on-one chat with her brother for TNT Sports ahead of the Prem clash between Tottenham and Man Utd this week, Daisy was asked by Maguire if she gets nervous watching him play on the biggest stage.
She responded: “Probably still. Yeah.

“Even to this day, you don’t get used to that first minute when the game kicks off.”
Maguire went on to add: “It is strange. It’s probably harder to watch a family member play than it is actually playing.
“When I go and watch my brother play, Loz, I was probably more nervous watching him in his final that he played at Wembley than being in a game of football myself.
“So it is strange.”

Daisy continued: “Yeah, it’s just every time you get the ball…”
However, before she continued, Maguire chimed in to say: “That’s not very good! You’re nervous when I touch the ball?”
His sister then concluded: “You just… Your heart drops.”
Maguire has made eight appearances for United so far this season.
The defender has scored two goals – one of which was the winner against Liverpool last month.
