WEST HAM flop Niclas Fullkrug is looking to quit the London Stadium – after his agent admitted his move “didn’t work”.
Germany striker Fullkrug was expected to spearhead the Hammers’ frontline after he joined in a £27.5m move from Dortmund after Euro 2024.
Fullkrug, 32, scored 15 goals in his sole season at Dortmund, after bagging 45 in 90 Bundesliga appearances for Werder Bremen and scored against Scotland and Switzerland as Germany reached the last eight.
But his injury-plagued spell in East London has seen him play just 27 matches, making only 13 starts and with a mere three goals to his name.
And now his agent, Thorsten Wirth, has admitted the striker is looking to leave.
Wirth said: “That always has to happen in coordination with the club.

“Strong in the air, physically powerful, able to shield the ball – basically made for the Premier League.
“But in retrospect, you have to say the transfer didn’t work. There’s no sugarcoating it.

“Time and again, just when you thought ‘now he’s coming.
“Now he’ll show England it wasn’t just a good Euro and then nothing afterwards’, another injury came.
“And that’s a shame. He’s had a bit of negative momentum and also some bad luck.”
West Ham will be back in action on Sunday afternoon, welcoming Burnley to Turf Moor.
