IT looks increasingly likely that Kelechi Iheanacho will be the answer to Celtic’s striking prayers – even if they’ll have to act fast to get him signed up in time to play in Europe.
But it’s worth noting that there are some other alluring free agent names out there as the Hoops seek for attacking options to help the likes of Daizen Maeda and Johnny Kenny.
Here SunSport takes a look at a couple of free agent options available on the market.
Patrick Bamford
Still only 31, the veteran former Chelsea striker Bamford left Leeds this summer after seven years at the club.
Hoops boss Brendan Rodgers was linked with a loan move for the Chelsea star back in 2016 after he had gone on loan to Norwich City the season before.
Injuries have slowed him down but Bamford has been in talks with Wrexham over a move and could still do a job at Premiership level.

Emanuel Dennis
Kelechi Iheanacho isn’t the only Nigerian frontman currently on the lookout for a new club.
Dennis is more than a year younger than Iheanacho, and would likely get a glowing recommendation from Philippe Clement, with whom he won league titles at Club Brugge.
With eight caps for his country, Dennis moved to Nottingham Forest for a sum believed to be £10m but was quietly released last month.
Hakim Ziyech
More of a No 10 or inside right than a frontman, Ziyech is a little Moroccan with magic in his boots.
Still only 32, Ziyech has scored goals and gained assists everywhere he has been, and is available after leaving Qatari side Al Duhail.
A mercurial talent in the Lubo Moravcik mould, Ziyech has three years at Chelsea under his belt.
Christian Eriksen, soon to face Scotland with Denmark, is another potential option if the Hoops do intend to go down the No 10 route.
