TOM ASPINALL’s latest sparring footage caused quite the stir among UFC fans.
The undisputed heavyweight champion makes his long-awaited octagon return on Saturday night in the main event of UFC 321 in Abu Dhabi, which will be broadcast live on TNT Sports Box Office.
Standing between Aspinall and his first title defence is long-time rival Ciryl Gane, who has been on the Brit bruiser’s radar for the best part of two years.
Aspinall has left no stone unturned for his clash with the Frenchman, sparring with light-heavy and heavyweights from around the world to make sure he gets his hand raised.
And he recently gave UFC fans a rare glimpse into his sparring.
Aspinall, 32, shared footage of himself doing some hard rounds with team-mates Ante Delija, Martin Buday and Modestas Bukauskas on his official YouTube channel.
And the Wigan warrior, who looks to be in tip-top shape, didn’t take things easy on his training partners, who he put through the ringer.
Footage of Aspinall’s last spar before fight night spread like wildfire on social media, although several MMA fans weren’t impressed by what they saw.
One wrote on X: “Y’all, I know Tom is dangerous, but my god, does he have his chin on a silver platter.”
Another said: “Gane is going to f*** him up, he strikes like a regional bum. Just running forward, chin up in the air.”
