H Wright Promotions recorded a huge 101-63 triumph over Police as they picked up the crucial points in the Cool & Smooth-sponsored Business Basketball League at the JSC basketball complex on Tuesday night.
Donte Trimingham had the hot hand for the victors, sinking a game-high of 40 points while grabbing nine rebounds, completing six assists and picking up six steals to help his team dominate the opening game of a double-header. Humroy Wright contributed with 29 points and six rebounds while Rashaun Harry contributed with 12 points and nine rebounds.
In a losing effort, Javon Simon sank 26 points, grabbed 11 rebounds and had five assists in an all-round effort. Alfred Telemaque contributed with 15 points and 14 rebounds while Gavin Walker picked up 12 points and bagged eight rebounds.
In Tuesday’s feature game, Sir Lester Bird Medical Center (SLBMC) enjoyed a narrow 49-45 win over Fearless Security Services also at JSC.
The winners were led by Nigel Joseph who picked up 19 points, grabbed six rebounds while collecting four assists and three steals. Winston Roberts also contributed to the victory with 10 points and six rebounds.
For Fearless Security Services, Emeka Emjuru led with 14 points, nine rebounds, four assists and four steals.
