A NON-LEAGUE goalkeeper scored a stunning volley in added time to steal a point for his team this week.
Charnock Richard were 2-1 down in the 98th minute of their NWCFL Premier Division match against St Helens when Ryan Hamer made his way into the opposition box.


As a corner was sent in, one attacker went for a close-range strike which was headed clear by a St Helens defender.
But the ball only travelled as far as Hamer on the penalty spot, who volleyed his shot straight into the top-right corner.
A post from the club’s X account read: “INSANITY. Goalkeeper Ryan Hamer scores a last-minute scissor-kick to win Charnock Richard a point!
“We won’t stop watching this all week!”

The game went on to finish 2-2 with both teams earning a point.
Charnock Richard moved to 17th in the league table as a result, with St Helens in seventh.
