FANS are fuming after Olympiacos scored against Barcelona before VAR intervened and a penalty was awarded instead.
Ayoub El Kaabi thought he pulled one back against the Spanish giants but his header was not allowed to stand.
The referee awarded a penalty as Daniel Podence was judged to be offside in the build-up.
But a handball was spotted and Olympiacos were awarded a penalty, which El Kaabi converted.
The striker appealed for the penalty before heading in from Podence’s cross.
The ball struck the arm of Eric Garcia as he challenged El Kaabi in the air from the initial cross into the box.
