LUKE LITTLER has fumed at the scheduling for the Grand Slam of Darts as he is forced to take a day off from playing.
The teenage sensation breezed past Wessel Nijman on Thursday night to book his place in the quarter-finals of the competition but is not happy with how things have shaped up.

Littler will face Josh Rock on Saturday with the match expected to be at night, leaving the Nuke with the entirety of Friday away from the oche.
Speaking after his 10-4 win over Nijman he was left venting. Littler said: “What am I going to do? I have no idea.
“I was expecting to be playing again on Friday. Now the group’s just done, I just want to play and play, day after day.
“If I do get past Josh, then obviously the semis and final are on Sunday. But I’ll take a rest now.”

Littler then went on to answer his own question around what he will do.
“I’ll watch the darts. Me, my mum and dad, we always watch it whenever I’m not playing.
“Obviously some players probably don’t watch the darts but we always watch it.
“There’s no point in not watching it because we want to know what’s going on.”
