FORMER Rangers star Andy Halliday has questioned the credentials of Danny Rohl as Gers boss.
Rohl was appointed the Rangers head coach on Monday ending a two-week search for Russell Martin‘s successor.

It’s been a chaotic process with Steven Gerrard and Kevin Muscat both turning down the job before Rohl was appointed, whom himself had also previously withdrawn from the running.
The appointment hasn’t gone down well with fans, who were looking for a ‘figurehead’ manager with more experience and evidence of previous title success.
Rohl was assistant at RB Leipzig, Bayern Munich and the Germany national team before becoming the youngest manager in the English Football League at Sheffield Wednesday.
Halliday reckons the 36-year-old is going to be under the same type of pressure as his predecessor Russell Martin, who was sacked after just five wins in 17 games.

The pundit told Clyde 1 Superscoreboard: “Danny Rohl could end up being a brilliant appointment for Rangers, but the optics aren’t great at how Rangers have got there.
“His body of work as a ‘head coach’, I just don’t think seems to me is enough to merit the job.
“He’s worked at Bayern Munich so he’s worked at a big football club so he does understand big club expectations.
“But he’s never been that figurehead, he’s never been that man at the helm that deals with that pressure.
“If he wants to know the pressure he can go back to Bayern Munich and think you know what you’re in Scotland‘s Bayern Munich you’ve won one Premiership trophy in 14 years – that’s the situation he is in.
“You need to go and improve it.
“Walter Smith is the best Rangers manager of my generation and he hadn’t managed a game when he took the job so you just don’t know.
“But I do feel like what we said about Russell Martin with the fans being a little uneasy about the appointment and being under pressure straightaway.
“I do feel Danny Rohl is going to be under the same pressure.”
