WE may only be a couple of months into the new domestic campaign but already we have eight teams in with a serious chance of silverware.
That will be reduced to four after this weekend however, as the Premier Sports Cup quarter-finals take place.
Seven teams from the Premiership and one from the Championship remain in the competition.
One of the quarter-finals has already taken place, with two on Saturday and the last of them on Sunday.
St Mirren are the first team to book their place at Hampden following a dramatic clash with Kilmarnock at Rugby Park, winning that tie on penalties.
And once the rest of the fixtures are done and dusted, when will the semi-final draw take place?
