Reyes, Aldana scored twice each for Yo Creek United

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Yo Creek United FC took a commanding step toward the 2025 National Amateur Inter-District Championship (NAIC) title with a 4–2 victory over Tut Bay FC in the first leg of the finals on Friday, August 16, at the Football Federation of Belize Stadium in Belmopan.
The Orange Walk-based side struck early through Liam Reyes, who opened the scoring in the 5th minute and added a second in the 35th. Nazim Aldana also netted twice, scoring in the 14th and 67th minutes to complete Yo Creek’s tally.
Tut Bay F.C. responded through Calvin Thurton, who briefly levelled the score in the 5th minute, and Ken Galvez, who narrowed the deficit further with a late strike in the 85th minute. Despite their efforts, the Belize City club couldn’t overcome Yo Creek’s attacking momentum.
With the win, Yo Creek United carry a two-goal cushion into the second leg of the NAIC final as they aim to secure the national amateur crown.
