Mahico secured their place in the ACB Richie Richardson Parish League finals with a commanding 48-run victory over Police, setting up a best-of-three series against Freetown starting Sunday, 25th May.
Batting first, Mahico posted a competitive 145 for five in 30 overs, with under 15 all-rounder Jayden Charles top-scoring with 42 and veteran Dion Samuel contributing an unbeaten 32. Bowling by Police was led by Kisean Francis (2/43) and Lashorn Barnarde (2/25).
In reply, Police collapsed to 97 all out despite a fighting 38 from Dequan Martin.
Mahico’s bowling attack was clinical, with Naian Frederick claiming three for 18, Akez France taking two for no run, and Dion Samuel completing an excellent all-round performance with two for 33.
