The Princess Margaret School (PMS) women were in a no-nonsense mood during their Cool & Smooth Schools Knockout fixture against St Mary’s Secondary School (SMSS) on Wednesday, racking up close to 10 goals as they advance to the next round of the competition.
National player, Rollesha Humphreys led the scoring for PMS with a hattrick, netting in minutes three, 33 and 42. There were double strikes from Karmiellia Hughes (10th and 48th), Kavita Cordice (41st and 58th) and Jakayla Bellot (5th and 31st) as they won the one-sided affair 9-0.
There was victory as well for Clare Hall Secondary School (CHSS) as they beat the Jennings Secondary School (JSS) 2-1. Janica Matthias scored both goals for the victors with strikes in minutes 32 and 36 while Latoya Williams had given Jennings the lead in the 23rd minute.
