Board of Education (BoE) remained unbeaten while handing the Antigua and Barbuda Transport Board (ABTA) their second loss in the Cool & Smooth sponsored Antigua and Barbuda Basketball Association (ABBA) Business Basketball League on Tuesday.
Playing in the feature game of a triple-header at the JSC basketball complex, Board of Education made light work of Transport Board to win the contest 83-59 and take their unbeaten record to four straight games.
Daniel Perez led the scoring for BoE with a game-high of 26 points while grabbing six rebounds and having four steals. Warren Bogle and Danny Perez each had 14 points while Xavier Meade scored 13 points, held 12 rebounds and tossed 12 assists for a triple-double.
In a losing effort, Lindsay McDonald led the scoring for Transport Board with 13 points while there were 10 points each from Kedar Clarke and Ariel Quallis. Quallis also had seven rebounds while Clarke grabbed five of his own.

In the night’s opening contest, Anjo Wholesale took their record to three wins and one loss with a 70-61 triumph over Fearless Security Services.
Steven Matthew was the top performer for Anjo Wholesale with 21 points, five rebounds, five assists and three steals. There were contributions of 15 points each from Jesus Emmanuel and Orion Seraphine also in the winning effort. Emmanuel also pulled 14 rebounds while Seraphine grabbed eight. Beniah Mark was the top scorer for Fearless Security Services with 27 points.
In the other match contested on Tuesday, H Wright Promotions won their second game in four showings when they beat Sledge’O Ballers 51-39.
Javonte Daley, Humroy Wright and Lornie Joseph all scored nine points for the victors. Leroy Percival was the leading scorer for Ballers with 14 points. The former national player also grabbed 16 rebounds.
