A triple-header on Saturday at the ABFA Technical Centre produced contrasting results in the Antigua and Barbuda Football Association Premier League, with Pigotts and Grenades securing wins while Potters Tigers and Green City battled to a dramatic draw.
In the evening’s final match, Grenades edged Garden Stars 1-0 thanks to Troy Jules, who delivered the decisive goal in the 54th minute to seal all three points for his side.
The second encounter saw Akeem Isaac produce a stunning hat-trick performance to lead Pigotts to a commanding 3-0 victory over Jennings United. Isaac opened the scoring in the 18th minute before doubling his tally in the 38th. He completed his treble in the 74th minute as Jennings’ defense struggled to contain the prolific striker throughout the match.

The day’s opening fixture between Potters Tigers and Green City provided the most drama, ending in a 2-2 draw with both teams scoring twice. Javorn Benjamin gave Potters an early lead in the 3rd minute, but Samuel Semper responded ten minutes later to level the score at 1-1.
Benjamin restored Potters’ advantage three minutes before halftime, putting his side up 2-1 heading into the break.
The match took a decisive turn just five minutes into the second half when Potters’ Delon Moore received a red card for a serious foul, reducing his team to ten men.
Despite Green City’s numerical advantage and sustained pressure over the next 40 minutes, Potters held firm. However, fresh substitutions proved crucial for City, as Jazward Vigilante and Wakiba Charles injected new energy into their attack.
The changes paid off when Semper scored his second goal of the match in the dying moments to earn Green City a hard-fought 2-2 draw.
